Business and City Editor
Ian King was appointed Business and City Editor of The Times in February 2011. He had been Deputy Business Editor since 2008. Prior to joining The Times, Ian was the The Sun's Business Editor for eight years.
Ian was awarded Business Journalist of the Year at the London Press Club Awards in 2007 and Business Journalist of the Year at the UK Press Awards in 2005.
Ian worked as a Business analyst at Midland Bank for three years before pursuing a career in journalism.
